Sydney Superdome

At the northern end of Sydney Olympic Park (Homebush Bay), just 14km out of the Sydney CBD, is Acer Arena (formerly Sydney SuperDome). It is a multi-purpose venue built specifically to host huge indoor entertainment and sporting events. It is also home to basketball teams, the Sydney Kings and Flames and is a popular venue of choice for supercross motorbike events.

Sydney SuperDome sports stadium is made up of seven smaller function venues, making it Australia’s largest indoor sports and entertainment stadium. It also has the most advanced technology in any of Australia’s arenas.

The main arena is amazing and must be seen to be believed. It has theatrical and special effects lighting availability, a centrally hung and fully retractable gondola, column free viewing and a full roof. There are also four massive, well placed video screens.

The Grand Ballroom is the main room used for conferences, banquets and seminars. Other areas of the SuperDome are the Club Café, the Show View Dining area and the Club Grill/View.

Acer Arena SuperDome is easily accessible by Sydney ferry, bus or train. There is also parking available at Olympic Park, although it is suggested that you pre-book your parking through Ticketek offices.
